September 17th 2:30pm to 3:30pm and September 18th 1:00pm to 2:00pm. Tickets are$20 and discounts are available for students, seniors, children, and youth.Open year round, this 308-meter (1010 feet) aerial trail system offers a rare perspective of the natural beauty of the west coast forest canopy eco-system and provides visitors with outstanding views.
Located in the David C. Lam Asian Garden; the walkway will offer a unique viewing and educational opportunity. The aerial trail system will allow for interpretation of the tree canopy, thereby providing dynamic new research and learning possibilities, as well as creating a first class tourist destination.

Hours of Operation
Hours of Operation are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, year round 7 days per week. Closed for Christmas Day and New Years Day. Hours of operation may change in the fall.
Tours of the Greenheart Canopy Walkway take approximately 45 minutes and are fully guided and currently on the hour. Please allow at least 1.5 hours in total for a group visit to experience the UBC Botanical Garden and the Walkway. Specific Botanical Garden tours are also available by booking in advance.
Important Details to Consider
It is important that all visitors to the Canopy Walkway wear proper footwear. No open toe shoes (sandals, flip flops, etc.) will be allowed on the walkway. Visitors should
also ensure that both hands are free to hold on to the railings. All small
children should be able to walk on their own or be securely carried in an approved
child backpack or carrier (walkers not permitted on the walkway).
Parking for Tour Buses
Tour bus parking is available, however it is limited. Please confirm that bus parking is
required for your group.Accessibility
The Canopy Walkway is not accessible by regular wheelchairs but Greenheart is currently working to develop a modified chair for the walkway. Guests with mobility issues must be transferred to the modified chair with the assistance of our guides. This service should be available soon. Please call us in advance to book your tour
and to check availability of the modified chair.
